According to my patterns I have been quilling since 1972! How can that be because I was only 4 in l972!..or maybe not! LOL I was so glad that to see the newsletter project this week but only got some time now to try it. The Mum is made by stacking strips of paper on top of each other in various lengths, cutting down to almost the centre and curling the ends a little. I used two SU embossing folders and a piece of antique handmade lace from my stash.

Quilling, I've never tried but this sure makes me want to give it a whirl. Gorgeous flower and pretty lace, too.

Sue, this is unbelievable. Your quilling work is exquisite for the blossom and tendrils. Beautiful dry embossing too. With the antique lace, this is a card for a VERY special someone...to be hand-delivered for sure!

Oh my goodness! I have been missing your awesome cards. This is one. I LOVE your flower and frills. Quilling is not my kind of thing and I totally admire anyone who even TRIES it. This is gorgeous.

Delicate -and detailed! Love the background color with the off whites, and a piece of beautiful antique lace - so warm of you to part with it! Congratulations on becoming favorited - well deserved!

This has inspired me to get out my quilling supplies. I've never tried this type of flower. You did a beautiful job on it. I really like the sprays behind the bloom as well. TFS
