So many fun background techniques to study..I had a hard time deciding which one to use. I finally went with smackin' acetate by Beate. I used reinkers rather than markers. I had a blast this morning getting all inky...I was getting carried away and finally had to stop and choose just one of the backgrounds I made.

Polly this is just beautiful! I love your background and all of the borders and die cuts you used.

I have to ask: Did you use gloves, or did your fingers get all that pretty ink on them? These colors look great together, Polly, and the image stamped in black really stands out nicely against them!

Polly, you have such a terrific "color sense"....I can see why you have a stash of great bgs now! This is wonderful and inspiring. Your diecuts behind your main panel go together so well on this pretty card.
