 | | Made this for my co-worker, Scott using a digi image from Hambo Stamps. It will be a card from our work group.
The original digi had the Happy Birthday upside down, which would have been perfect as we're always joking about how screwed up the business is (isn't that how it always is at work?) But my printer is on its last legs and I didn't like the way the sentiment was printing, so I erased it from the digi before printing. Unfortunately, none of my HB stamps was the right size to stamp upside down. But, hey, I can deal...it's all good!
Colored the image with Copics and Prismacolors. Added sparkly fluff to the brown mice, and glitter to the cupcake. Added a little Glossy Accents to their noses, the cupcake decorations and the teeth of the guy on the right.
Stamped the top of the card base with SU Aida Cloth BG stamp and used a scrap of Lasting Impressions with Paper cardstock.
Inside used a modified version of a sentiment from my Hallmark card software:
On your birthday, we don't just see
a valuable and cherished co-worker.
We see another opportunity for treats!
