I bought a calendar awhile back because the large images like this one were so beautiful--they looked like the artist had used the kissing technique on top of the image. I no longer have the rest of the calendar and cannot give credit to the most deserving artist of these images. Most of the images turned out to be too big to use in my classroom as I had originally intended, but I saved these three images because I loved them so much. When I saw a certain challenge in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges, I remembered these images and had a blast creating these oversized shaped cards from specific geographic locations. It IS technically a tent topper. The fold goes up the right side of the statue and the right arm is the topper. I messed up on this one. In trying to follow the lines of the image I inadvertently made it open on the left instead of on the right.
On this one, I used black craft ink to emboss an encouraging Bible verse--"God is our refuge and strength," from Psalm 46:1. I love that verse!
