Here's a little Olympic rings history lesson & the Olympics is why I chose this & these colors. The rings are for the 5 continents that the athletes traveled from to participate; the interlocking rings is for unity to compete together; every nation has at least one color of the Olympic flag in their flag.
So, I have a black base, white flowers & red, blue, green & yellow centers.

Karen, this is terrific....and you nailed your inspiration piece. All the flowers with the "Olympic rings-colored centers" make such a delightful statement. Thanks for the "interesting facts" lesson too.
