Oh the instant that Cindy posted this challenge I knew what I wanted to do! A couple of ideas were rolling around in my head about the other two challenges and this just brought everything into focus.
Cut the large hexagons from scraps and the small from Simple Stories Summer Fresh with LSC dies. (I bought the hexagon dies because I like the shape, later finding out that they are trendy. I suppose that it was inevitable that at some point trend and I would intersect!) Arranged them all akimbo for some interest - kind of like my sons going off in all different directions. Added the Flourishes sentiment and done. PT - 8
This card was the most fun to make of all of the DTGD challenges. Thanks Cindy, Julie and Debbie for the wonderful inspiration. Thank you all for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Love this--clean and simple! i also love that shape and must get the die. Great way to use scraps--make note cards for a gift, using up all kinds of scraps!

Akimbo, I just love that you used the word akimbo! I had a dictionary as a kid and I remember the picture for that word, such a childhood memory rush. Anyway, that said, this card is just delightful!! I love that you set those patterned hexagons akimbo, it adds such interest!!
