I used a painting that I did this year as an inspiration for this challenge. It's a sunflower, and I did it on four canvases, so they are sort of spaced apart on my wall. My great grandmother raised sunflowers on a farm in North Dakota, and always painted and embroidered images of their fields, so it's an image that is very dear to me.

I love this! It took me some studying to see your layers and figure out how you got the effect. Brilliant. I love that this challenge gives everyone a glimpse into our own lives and spaces. Thank you so much for making a sample for me!! xo

Wow.............. is this hanging in a museum somewhere? I need to visit for a closer look. There's so much texture and hidden things that I keep finding each time I look.
