Twisted Greeting Card -open

This was one of my Stampin' Up! Convention 2012 swaps. I'm calling it the "Twisted Greeting Card" because of the "twisted folding" which takes place in creating it. You won't believe how fun and easy it is!

Here is a link to a video which explains everything in detail...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhMJl_Mh8FY

1. card stock 4-1/4"x11"
2. score CORNER TO CORNER at an angle
3. fold on score and LEAVE FOLDED
4. score SYMMETRICALLY (right down the center)
5. fold closed
6. decorate and embellish

Yep! That's it! How fun! The card creates two "pockets" -one on the front and one inside. Leave both pockets open or close one... you choose. So easy, right?!

I'd love to see what you come up with using this fold! Leave me a comment with your link so I can take a peak. Thanks and have fun creating!

Love it! I hope it becomes a technique (TLC) challenge soon. The only part of your instructions that I don't understand is step 4. Is that the center fold? It looks really easy and is so pretty. It will have people asking "How did you do that?" TFS

Thanks for your comment, Val! Ooooh, wouldn't that be fun... for it to be featured in the TLC Challenge! A gal can dream... mmm.

Yep, fold right down the CENTER for step 4... "symmetrically" would give equal parts on each side so it would mean right down the center. ;-)

So glad you enjoy it! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
