Well, I made this card for my brother's 50th birthday. I can't believe he is going to be that old this year. Lots of big ones in my family this year. Crazy!
Anyway, I actually made the cupcake last week, was going to do the sketch challenge but just wasn't feeling it, so the cupcake has been sitting waiting to be used for a week now.
I stamped it using one of those clear sets that you find at the craft stores in real red. Then I used a glue pen and grabbed the old SU glitter set that came out about 5 years ago. I did the light blue first, then decided on adding the dark blue.
Since I knew I was going to use my cupcake, I needed my colors to coordinate, so I used pacific point, marina mist, real red and white.
I dry embossed using the cb and an ef. I'm not one to use sentiments as a feature but considering the sketch and the cupcake I figured it would work and I think it works pretty darn good.
tfl and happy stamping!
