This card is for a DTGD challenge as referenced in the title. It is also for the WT385 musical challenge, based on the song "I Love the Nightlife" sung by Alicia Bridges, 1978. Incidentally, since I thought of making this card on Friday night, that song will not stop going through my mind. Hee! My card was inspired by a necklace at the site of yesterday's IC347 challenge and is based on the CAS180 sketch. Whew!
I made this card for my friend. He is 51, was married at 20, and recently divorced. After 29 yrs of marriage he has just recently re-discovered the "party life." He lives for the weekends! Oh, how I remember those blissful, fun times ... ahhhhh. We talk, we joke, we laugh til we cry. I know he will think this card is a real hoot! It was great fun to make it for him. It would also be a great Halloween card.
