Yes, in fact, she did. This lil Oklahoma small town girl done it alright, she done left for the BIG City, and now she's known as a Dirty Girl. Uh-huh, she is! My, my, my..... And you know her name, right? Yeah, it's sweet lil 'ol Bev Gerard, (in the Big City they all call her TexasGrammy, now what do you think of that!) And now, she's royalty too! Uh-huh, I said it, they gone and made her Queen of the Day! She got honors, jewels 'n ever-thang! In Texas, her loyal subjects call her “Mimi” too!
And, Sweet Bev, you deserve every bit of this gossip, because you are one wonderful gal. I love your heart, humor and creativity. You are a dear friend, and I am tickled to pieces to see you here! I cased your Beach Babes card because I loved your design. This photo is of your gals, off the beach. (I think it is Art Impressions, but was a gift, so I am not certain). It is watercolored, and has Crystal Effects on the dryers, and bling for the jewelry (so Queen-like, eh?) Bev, hope your reign is super delish, just like you! Love you girl!
This is also for the Twisted Sister Challenge is presented by SillyFilly (Sylvia) to use hot Summer colors, two dies and some glitz. This is a birthday card for a precious friend of over 30 years. The inside reads "Do the Math, you're old!" Gotta love it.
Thanks for looking!

<Giggling> loving the overheard conversation here of these ladies talking up sweet Bev, the newest QFTD - yeah, she done made good!!
Love how you used your floral ovals frame - like a beauty parlor fancy mirror - the hood hair dryers all purtied up with CE, an the 'jewelry' the gals are wearin', plus you doubled up the challenges quite well by using the 'hot summery colors' for your watercoloring! Love the inside sentiment - what a hoot this is, Way to go, Sistah!

I love this cute card with the old gals under the dryer. Holy Moly, I just realized I went to sleep under the dryer. No wonder my hair is like straw. Oh, okay, back to the card. I love the tulle and you really stirred up the summer colors with your water coloring. Last but not least, I love the frame you put the old gals in. Okay, no need to ruin a good straw hair day so I am off to the races or somewhere. Maybe I will find some straw fun to go with my straw hair.

Oh, what a little trio of gossiping gals. Bet they can dish the dirt. Hidden behind those three is some very pretty tulle, I see. Great card...sure to give Bev a big ol' smile.

Everything about this is perfection! Love the image, so cleverly done with all the bling and shiny hairdryers! The netting makes me think of hairnets and the black frame like some ornate mirror. Well done!

What an adorable image! Oh, it reminds me of days gone by when my Mother would take me with her to the "beauty shop" and I would have to sit on a stack of magazines to get my head up under the dryer.
