This is my card for TLC387 which was to used pleated or ruched ribbon - not premade. I can't handle pleats and don't know how to ruch, but mine is gathered and I hope I didn't cheat. I like the way it looks. I used my Sizzix Happy Birthday die, Tim Holtz tissue tape, a piece of ribbon from my birthday (see the sexy ribbon they gave me) and held it on with flower brads. I think the BG is Graphics 45. I'm guessing. I think I like it.

I think your ribbon looks fabulous. Great way to re-purpose your birthday ribbon. (My kids laugh and say that they have to put as much thought into the wrapping of my gifts as they do to what is inside because they know I'm going to reuse the wrapping paper and the ribbon on a card sometime!) Loving the music note tape.

Very nice card and I think you ribbon looks great, too!! I am a ribbon-aholic and pick up scraps here and there to use on my projects. I am nearing a Mt. Everest sized pile of ribbon, so I think that I am going to have to refrain from saving any more ribbon. (:>) Thanks for sharing your card!

LOVE this card! The bkgrd paper is perfect for the gathered, orange ribbon w/brads. I'll have to give that a go. Like the orange greeting and Tim's tissue tape, too. Such a festive b.d. card.

Oh I think I like it too! Great job on the ribbon treatment! Not sure how you did it, but it looks awesome! You have so much cool stuff to use on your cards! They always look amazing!
