Thank you Judy for a fun challenge! I pleated the lace, pinned in place and use my sewing machine to hold it down~worked like a charm. I just got this SU set because I loved the tractor~I guess everyone knows I live in Iowa and right now is not good for the farmers~a severe drought and soooo hot! 105 today!
I stamped the tractor in the new SU color Gumball Green, the sentiment in Summer Starfruit~love the new pads! The dp came with the white and yellow paint! I used a Spellbinder to cut out. I stamped the sentiment and cut the arrrow. Added a gingham knot and a corn button. I also did a little paper peircing in the top corner. Sponged all the edges. TFL

Great card. I am from Iowa too and live in Texas now. My aunt still lives there and she and my mom communicate everyday and she has been saying how incredibly hot it has been. All that to say I love your card. It reminds me of the cups my DH bought at a garage sale the other day. They were John Deere!

Linda, this year's drought is a sad, sad thing. It is going to impact us all in the end - food prices, gas prices from ethanol, and the emotional toll. I am praying for rain and hoping you get it soon (that we all do).
Now about your card...I love it. That set is wonderful - so wonderful that my Mother bought it and she never buys stamp sets from SU! I love that you did it in green and included very country accents. The corn is perfect!!! Great card!!!
Hugz and wishes for rain!

Lovely vintage card, Linda. Reminds me so much of my grandmother's farm with the tractor....and lace, like her lace curtains. Your cute corn charm and gingham ribbon are great accents.
