This is for FS285 and SophieLaFontaine is our featured artist today. Congratulations, Sophie! I had fun looking through your gallery. I was inspired by Sophie's Bunnies and Window card found here: Bunnies and window by SophieLaFontaine at Splitcoaststampers I kept pretty close to Sophie's color combination. I added to the card layout by adding wainscoting and chair rail to create a room background for the window. I added an eyelet cornice.
I stamped the scene three times with black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I painted the base scene with Distress Reinkers and cut it out. I used my craft knife to cut out all the windows and popped it up on the base with tolled up glue dots. I painted the bunnies and then cut them out along with the window sill and popped them up over the layered window to add a little more dimension. I scored the wainscoting using my score pal and formed the chair rail with my crimper. I punched the cornice and then crimped it with the crimper.
