 | | What a fun site! Love all the vintage stuff! With so much to choose from, I had a lot of ideas, but I was really struck by this Drafting Stool. The colors and shape reminded me of watermelon, which I really love.
So the round stool became a (slightly chomped) piece of watermelon and the stick legs became my strips of embossed checkerboard. The images are from DRS Designs. The watermelon border was colored w/ markers and a water brush and the different colors of embossed strips were stacked on top and below it.
The watermelon was made w/ oval and scallop oval dies and the clear epoxy stickers were attached on top of two 1/2 inch circles I dotted and punched. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25. I'm also adding this to the FC Gallery: Summertime!
