 | | I was so excited about today's inspiration site that I found 2 items from which to base my card. When I saw this lightbulb I thought immediately of my light bulb guy. And I also liked these metal looking wall decorations and thought of adding some embossed silver plumber's tape. In making this I got to use a fun chipboard gear that Kathleen (Lammie) had sent me..thanks buddy! I know steampunk isn't for everyone but I had to go where the inspiration leads me and that's what it did today.
One more thing I wanted to mention..I got an email this morning from a corpsman serving on the USS Enterprise responding to cards I had sent to Operation Write Home. It made my day and makes me so proud of and grateful for our troops. |
