Today's challenge is to make a card about weather. I chose to make one about what I'd like to have. We got a really nice rain yesterday, but we need more. The grass is dry and yellow, the flowers want something to drink and the news on TV asks for a 5% cut in water use!
So, my ducks (I believe Sassy Cheryl's) are doing a rain dance for more! They are colored with Copics. The clouds, lightening and rain drops are from Michael's and were 49 cents! Good buy, huh!

Maybe this is what the challenge should have been, praying for rain! I love the juxtaposition of your card next door to Sallie's!! Cute ducks and layout with the clouds and water drops! I hope the dance works for you and the whole mid-West!!

What a cute rain dance card. I think those should be travelling ducks so they can go around the country dancing for rain. What a year! Thankfully, the rains (about 6 " in all) came here in the last week or so. It was awesome and we've greened up. Love your raindrops and clouds.

oh, this reminds me of being young...and when my sisters and brother and I would stomp in the rain...we'd chant "Quack, Quack...Waddle, waddle. Quack! Quack! Waddle, waddle." Thanks for bringing this to my memory. I'm going to have to share it with my sibs!!

This is adorable, Vicky, brought a broad grin to my face. I was thinking about trying to get lighting on my card - it's nice to see some in the gallery. I wish I could send you some of our rain!! Took my shoes two days to dry out after Monday's outing...
I've been aware of the drought and weather conditions over there, but without TV I hadn't really seen the graphic reality till I was watching Sky News while attending jury service this week.
