I need a card for my sis in law and I know her fav. color is purple so when I saw this lovely card in our queen for the week...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=132381 I got the idea of this little girl, especiallywhen I saw her pretty purple hat. I also saw this fun tiger one...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=132381, It gave me the idea to do another Easel card which are so fun. Go see Ina's wonderful gallery its def. a great tour..:0)
I actually with luck hit 2 other challenges. At ODBD it is to have clouds or sunshine, which worked out super, as I havent been able to make it there for a while.
The other challenge is free for all on friday's which is all about weather. Here is has been warm and sunny so perfect for this lil one to have a stroll and a rest maybe in a meadow.
I colored her with water crayons and the water pen, cut her out. Sponged the clouds with paper towel, sponged a bit of grass. Then I had a bit of paper that had the wood grain in it and with scissors scraggly cut the one end so it looks like it is broken off and sponged the edges a bit with a darker brown. Added the punched out grass, which I got form my super ma-ma as well as she shared this sweet punch. added the pink stickers and for the bottom part I added flower soft for like a mossy meadow, adn some little purple flowers to match. I then remembered flowers need a butterfly so I punched out a little butterfly and colored it purple and pink and then added the glitter...lol...I know, I know...he-he, snuck it on again...lol, Oh and raised her up with a foamie..:0)
I am not sure If I am going to put more sentiment in that part or not, with the flower soft now there it might not stick, maybe just might leave it as is , but looks like its missing something...ack..not sure what to do...lol...again...but here it is for now.

Wow..what a sweet card...love what you did here......GJ, do exciting to see all that you do...your getting so good with your cards.......you have grown by leaps & Bounds!! I love the purple too......more & ,more...kinda getting away from the blue...but I still love my sea blue!!
