Well it is still Tuesday SOMEwhere, and I wanted to get my card in for Alex - if you want to see her story please go to this post
I took a lighthearted approach and did a single giraffe in punch art, inspired by Jenny's card HERE who was inspired by Lee Ann's card HERE (sorry Mudder, no time for any fancy schmancy stuff, misbehaving giraffes or fashion designer giraffes)
I took it a little different direction by creating a leafy tree scene behind and having the giraffe popping out of the popped up BG - I also worked the punches out a little bit different, used googlie eyes, a button,and a branch in his mouth, with a personal sentiment for the front - inside just says "to see how you're doing!"
Hope she doesn't think this is too much like a small child's card - I was just going for something upbeat and cute to make her smile -

Sue...adorable and anyone that likes a certain animal will love it any shape or form. I just love it..:0). so cute with the little tiiy-bitty-goodly eyes and how hes just cassually chewin on some grass....Maybe its just a cookie and has the grasss sitting outside to cover it up...he-he... Alex will love it. so fun, warm and personal and full of the love...:0). I went light adn fun too with Melman from madagascar..the crazy getting into trouble girraffe,...lol...TFs....:0)

Sue, what a fantastic card for Alex. Your punch art is exceptional and sure to win Alex's heart. Your giraffe has such personality! Love the green leafy bg...since that's what they like to eat. Super job!!

no way, this is too young for Alex! This card rocks Susie Q! I love, love, love this.......and in my book, it is fancy schmancy....it is very very cool......I gotta tell you, that giraffe button rocks....don't be surprised if I don't snatch that right off your card while you are looking grabbin' a cookie!
I love that Alex is gonna get all these amazing and wonderful giraffe.......she is gonna be smiling ear to ear......giraffe to giraffe! Whoot!

Sue, this punch art giraffe is Adorable!! This fellow has so much personality, especially with the googly eyes!! I love that he's popping in to check on Alex's progress in getting well!! You've even got a giraffe button! Cute, cute!!

A fellow punchkateer here!!!! Wow 20 punches you are on a roll girl. You are going to overtake me if you don't watch out....lol Really Sue this card is just over-the-top loaded with cuteness!!! I just love it. Someday soon I will have the time to come back to the Teaparty!!! I miss it so much. By the way you might get the "Punch of the Week" award with this count.
