Sent this card as a thank you to some dear friends who had just returned from a vacation to Maui.
The lush, multiple loops of twine in the bow was an idea I borrowed from a card made by Angela, also known as Arizona Maine -- she has provided so many creative ideas for me. Thank you, Angela, for the inspiration!
The sun was stamped, colored with markers and cut out. The cute circle sentiment in the center was from a stamp set from the Target dollar spot and just happened to be the right size. How neat was that?!
The beach scene was watercolored and the interior edges of the Blossom Nestie were sponged with soft wheat ink before removing from the die. Easy peasy!
This was a fun and fast card to make. It put me in the mood to hit the beach and get some sand between my toes.Thanks for taking the time to look at my beach kids!
