Here is my card that will be going out in the mail to Alex today. I found out, while making this card, that I am OLD and BLIND! After about ten minutes of trying to thread my twine through the button hole, I gave up and used a tiny dot of crystal effects to glue my knot on top of the button. I am not sure where the flower came from. It was just lying on my table, looking sad, so I am sending it to Alex!

I'm pretty much convinced that twine can't be threaded into most buttons, so your solution sounds good to me. The flower/button/twine embellie is the perfect touch to this card.

Your flower no longer looks sad. In fact, it adds just the right bit of whimsey to your card. I can certainly identify with the threading of buttons!!!

And what a great image your stamp is too! I love the little story about not being able to see to thread the button, know it well, but you persevered and got it done another way!! I love the colors that say hot summer sun on the savannah!
