I made this card for the MFT80 challenge. Then I saw the Teapot challenge and thought "hey, I have a giraffe to share". I'm new to the site (yes, I know it's says I've been a member since 2010, but I was overwhelmed and didn't know how to use it) and to this challenge. I'm trying to figure out all these challenges so I can use my overflowing stock of stamping items.
Stamp Used: MFT PI Giraffe Girl
Paper: Giraffe background from PaperHouse Productions, Burlap-Home Basics, the rest scraps
Embellishments: eyelets and brad- Recollections
Die Cuts: MFT Simply Scallops, MFT Sentiment Strips

You have certainly come to the right place to get your feet 'wet'.....we tea partiers are a fine bunch of revelers who are just as pleased as punch to have a new lady to chat with at the tea party AND wow....you sure did share a great card with us....we really do hope that you will come back and join us.
And...remember....if you need help with anything in the 'SCS neighborhood' just give us a 'holler' (or private message) and we'd be glad to help you out.....we were all newbies and overwhelmed at times......so pick up a cup of tea, relax, and enjoy the cookies......(we can be a bit crazy at times, but it is a fun crazy...not a scarey crazy....lol!!!)
Laughter is an instant (and free) vacation!

Such a sweet image and great bg paper. Hey I don't know about anyone else, but I have been in that overwhelmed boat myself. Thankfully, everyone is very helpful and patient. HOpe you come to more teaparties.

Wowzers, welcome to the tea party!! I'll tell you a secret...none of us really knows what we are doing! We just play around until something works or someone who figured it out tells us. I ditto what Joanne aka jojot says...we're in this together, let us help you along your journey in this wonderful place!
Now about your card...love your sweet image and how beautifully that you have colored her. Your BG with the striking giraffe is perfect and your punched border & fabric detail are wonderful. Beautifully rendered tea party card. I hope to see you back here soon...TFS!

A big warm welcome to the teaparty! The Mudder keeps cookies for the newbies, but she has a little problem remembering where she hides them. Maybe you can help her find them!! For some reason she doesn't trust us not to gobble them all down??? Would we do that?? Never!! Your image is just perfect for the teaparty this week!! Hope to see every week! Everybody was new one time - if you have any questions about the site I am sure that anyone will be able to answer them. I would be honored to help....
