I have a friend that moved into her new home and I wanted to get her a congrats card for that.
Our new queen for the week is Sophie LaFontaine. You should check our her wonderful gallery full of so many neat ideas, and beautiful work. I kept going over and over in my head what would be good for a new home card as I have never made one before, and when I saw this one of Sophie's...Window by SophieLaFontaine at Splitcoaststampers got me to thinking of my window cards for the flower soft. Great idea Sophie..ty...love curtains and pretty windows...especially ones with this kind of back yard..:0)
so it is from a flower soft kit, so quite easy all you have to do is cut out the pieces and layer them with dots or foamies. I then added some of the flower soft, and decided to try to make a matching kitchen wall for the bg. the green strip I also used my ...lol...I cant for the life of me remember what its called, that device that makes lines...lol...sorry girls. must be late..:0). used a die-cut for the blessings which I made a few times, the othertimes ended up too big, so I used just the middle word from ODBD's birthday blessings, taped over the other parts, took off the tape and then stamped it.
I havent been o the twisted sisters but for so long now wanted to add some doodles. I am stuck with them. I can draw ok but now sure how to fancy it up with doodles, so I hope this still counts girls I added the swirl which is the one I learned forom my grandma when she used to sign all the letters I got form her with that. I did some other dots and things on the edge and messed it up so bad...lol...I might just redo it all togehter the sentiment, because the more I look at the crooked black edge now...oyvey...lol...but it is raised up as well .
better get to bed now after 1, so thanks for visiting and take care...:0)
