 | | Today's color challenge: Raspberry Pirouette Cakes! I used a newly released set from The Stamps Of Life for this card along with some paper from echo park's This & That collection. I sponged white acrylic paint along the edges of my kraft base and also stamped the white heart garland at the top in white acrylic paint. I then took a pink prisma pencil, and outlined the hearts.
I made my shabby medallion from old text paper by crinkling it and then accordian folding it. I inked the edges with Antique Linen distress ink and added a rolled rose to the middle (also handmade). I cut some banners from the echo park paper to hang from my medallion and also added half of a Wilton doily to the side of the journal box. I stamped some extra hearts in Antique Linen ink above my sentiment and in the lower left corner.
