I was excited to see Marie's challenge to us for Teapot Tuesday http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...l#post19546243 included fishing images as I was recently gifted this stamp from the retired Angler set. I stamped on watercolor paper and used watercolor crayons and a paintbrush to color my image. I did a faux burnt edge as well as lots of distressing on my circles and strip. The strip is a piece of paper bag embossed in the Square Lattice ef. I used a vellum quote adhered with large eyelets and added a bit of twine for accent.
Come join the party!!!

Wowzers, Gail this is fantastic!! What a beautiful gift to receive - I love this set! (and I would imagine a PW could surely use fishing themed cards a lot :) I love your layout and the cool use of that texture...really a manly feel. The simple yet powerful words are perfect for Heath - he is going to love this card. Thanks so much for coming to the Party today...I've been scarce here as of late but I do think of you. Now go and get some of those creel cookies! Hugz.
