 | | I'm having fun with day 1 of the Stretch Your Stamps class. This card features the pieced background technique using stamps and papers from Studio Calico (by Hero Arts).
I stamped the Magical Background three times on three different designs of Studio Calico Designer papers using three new memento inks. I trimmed two of the pieces down to rectangles, stacked them together, and used temporary adhesive to place a circle placeholder.
Next I trimmed my rays (cutting both pages at the same time) by cutting slightly into the circle (and leaving everything attached underneath. Then I cut apart the rays and paper pieced them onto the third stamped piece of paper.
The sketch is this week's Studio Calico Sunday Sketch.
