I am SUPER grateful for the inspiration today, to pull out these items I have dearly loved and always wanted to play with. I am not sure where the paper came from - but I love roses, and glitter, and I love the combo of pink and orange.
As well, I love this PSX sentiment. I still have the price tag on this stamp. I bought it at Long's Drugs in Cupertino. That store owner loved stamps as much as we do -- and she had a crazy amount of stamping products for sale in a Long's store. They don't carry so many any more.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I struggled with the execution. While I am a very detailed stamper, I am sometimes not patiently precise. First off, the size of the roses on the dsp only worked with one size square punch which was a little too large to fit with the sketch. Then, I only wanted tiny 1/8 borders, so I had to handcut the outer border. I used my SU! ribbon stamps, and it cut like butter.
I don't totally love the outcome, but I am calling it good enough for today. Next time I work on a tile card, I will know more about some of the constraints. I do know that whoever I choose to give it to will love it -- people always love a handmade card, made with love and given for the perfect occasion.

I think the execution of the roses is absolutely lovely - friendly and fresh, like the sentiment. TFS!

How beautiful with just the perfect touch of glitter! The sentiment is so pretty and sweet, I can see why you love it...you pulled off the tiles beautifully, I find them hard to arrange and get on there straight!

When my mother and I took our first stamp class, PSX stamps were virtually all they sold, so we bout a ton of them and loved them all. My mother, in particular, loved their rose stamps. If she were still alive, she would have turned 75 this past Monday. I have been thinking of her much this week, so in my eyes, your card is simply perfect.

Sometimes we are our worst critic, (don't I know)! This is beautiful! I love the wonderful shades of pink in the roses and the fun sentiment!
Wow, Longs Drug Store, that is going back a little, I always loved shopping there as it was almost like shopping a small hometown drugstore that carried everything.
