Remember I told you that I had a hard time trying to come up with a clean and simple for this week's challenge using Navy, Olive and White. Well ... this was my first attempt. I like it but I'm not sure I would categorize this as clean and simple. It's simple enough but not necessarily the best use of white space. Never-the-less, I'm sharing it with you. I love Lockhart stamps because of their size. And because of that, they are a good resource for practicing color techniques.

Another big comfy chair:) I was just reading your comment on Bridget's seaside beach chair. It is nice to know that wherever we are and whatever we are doing, we can REST in His promises, but a big comfy chair whether it be by the seaside or under a warm lamp glow with the Book and a nice warm cuppa, always adds an extra touch to the rest part;) I think this is a lovely use of white space for CAS and you do such a wonderful job with colors and coloring. Have a blessed and restful day, Susie--no matter how busy the outside gets:)!!

Why, I think you're catching on to cas for sure! This is a perfect cas designed card, Susie! Your coloring is amazing, and I like the soft glow coming from the lamp; very inviting indeed. Who wouldn't want to sit down and read a good book?
