 | | It took me ages to settle on which card of Featured Stamper, Loll Thompson's I wanted to CASE, but finally settled on this one:

I used the same stamp set and layout as Loll did, but I added an embossed layer, a sentiment cut out with a Spellbinders' tag and attached with twine, and different colours and colouring method. Loll coloured her flowers with markers and the marker layering technique, but I used the two-step stamping method with the infill stamps included in the stamp set. I had to use the stamp-a-ma-jig to get them lined up with the outline stamps.
The ink for the outlines and sentiment is one of the new Memento colours called Northern Pine - it looks black in the photo but is a very dark green. I coloured the stems with two other Memento greens, but used the more vibrant ColorBox colours to stamp the flower infills as I wanted to capture the colours I see in my flower beds right now.
Congratulations, Loll, on being Featured Stamper - very well deserved. I get so much inspiration from your cards. |
