My first easel card.
My mom's name was Ayako and I miss her (28 yrs she's been gone now). Her hometown was badly hit by last year's tsunami and we still have cousins and an aunty there.
Used Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The stamp is actually called Ayako by Sister Stamps. I stamped onto a strip of yellow cs and folded it to make the fan which acts as the stopper. It folds down so the card can close. At the bottom I used koi fish embossing folder by CB, sprinkled Prismacolor glitter by Hero Arts. I put four teeny adhesive backed pearls on her hair pin, & the image & the sentiment are on pop dots. There are beads and a charm that says "Believe" hanging from the yellow bow, and a secret place inside for a message. I gave it to my doctor this week - I think she likes it!

Hi, Ina,
Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I knew I wanted a fan somewhere on the card, so it worked out like a 'door stopper' - best wishes, Rosy
