Roberta's card is darling, but I really picked it because it was made to celebrate the birthday of one of my fav people - Michelle Single. It seemed as good a reason as any since I could have seriously picked any of Roberta's cards to case as they are all wonderful.
I made the card for my DH's birthday in a few months so I used a great image from Delicious Doodles. The Delicious Doodles Challenge this week is a 1, 2, 3 Recipe - so I used one image, 2 brads with numbers (DH will be 52), and 3 crystal button thingees from SU! Here is the link to the challenge if you are interested:

Oh, wow, so masculine indeed! What a super image for your DH's birthday, and those crystal buttons are so cute! I've never seen those before, but I like the way you added the twine to them, another manly look. Thank you so much for your kind words, they are so appreciated, and for playing along by casing one of my cards. Blessings~

Gosh if I gave this to my husband for his birthday he might shoot it....lol He is already talking about deer hunting and making plans for the fall. That image is awesome. It looks like you actually pencil drew it yourself and those crystal thingees are darling. Great card for the DH-he must be a hunter too!

oh my gosh, Nancy - I thought the same thing as Carol - what a fantastic image for a man who likes to hunt - great image and those muted colors to keep it manly (and the sneaky way of telling everyone how old your DH is!!) Gotta LOVE those new vintage cut buttons - a perfect card in every way!! If He doesn't feel the love oozing out of this card, wow!!
LYMI - miss ya!

Oooh, that stamp is to die for. I love it and I know your DH will too. I love how you added the "52" and buttons. A super, duper masculine card Nancy. I'm still trying to catch up on comments - sorry.
