 | | My friend needed to create an invitation for her FIL's BBQ party. She asked me for help and this is what I came up with. I meant to post it in time for Father's Day, but I forgot.
To make the beer mug, cut one pillow box out of card stock vellum (white). Cut away one side of the curved portion of the pillow box. This forms the rim of the mug. Assemble the pillow box using sticky tape. Cut to desired height. Use the vellum scraps to make a handle. You can use the XL oval punch with the L oval punch, but I found it just as easy to make one free-hand.
Cut another pillow box out of the yellow vellum (or just eye-ball it and cut it without the die cut. Trim it down to fit into the mug for the beer. (You only need one panel for this.) |
