I was so pleased to see that my friend Roberta, a very sweet and talented stamper, is Queen for the Day...I chose to CASE her very last card in the gallery. I changed the beautiful maple leaves to butterflies and added some black flourishes behind them. The bg is masked with post-it-notes and speckled with black ink and a toothbrush. The butterflies are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps New Beginnings set and they're cut with the coordinating dies.

Wowzers Bridget! Those colors are so strikingly gorgeous, and against the black flourish and white cs they really stand out! Such beautiful butterflies, my friend. (I hope that toothbrush was clean when you used it!) JK Thank you for your kind words, Bridget and for playing in this challenge. I'm feeling very blessed. : )

What a beautiful card to honor your friend, Roberta, Bridget. Love your vibrant colors and butterflies. The black tendrils make the colors all the more intense.

Those butterflies are striking! I love the colors of the butterflies against that teal and your black speckles are fabulous...perfect to highlight the swirls and the butterflies.
