This is my card using Holly's sketch for this week. At first, I was a little intimidated with the various panels. But.......
I don't often make a card with someone in mind. However, my sister has recently gone through a huge change in her life -- a new baby, new job and moving to a different city. It's been really stressful for her and I wanted to let her know that I'm here for support. When I found this image in the Craft Secrets Girlfriends Images and Journal Notes booklet I knew it was perfect. I adjusted the sketch a little to accommodate the image by making my card size 4x8.
The papers are from October Afternoon "Thrift Shop" and machine stitching was added.
Thanks for taking a closer look (and patiently reading my story!).

How creative to use the oval of the design as a mirror on this retro inspired card! Love your retro DPs to go with the mirror. (Glad we don't wear bras like that anymore!)
