 | | This week our cards are going off to what I'll call Minnesnowta, to fellow SCS'er Vikki aka vikkijo. Seems that the Teapotters have the mission of cheering Vikki up a little. I think the right group has been called in for the job!
This little menagerie came about after I didn't like what I started out doing. This was my first idea, but went with something else. Shoulda stuck with my first idea.
I got busy after my cup of coffee and turned out these little farm yard buddies.
There's Cloverina the brown cow, she looks like she was out in the alfalfa field gorging herself, I hope she doesn't explode!
Next to Cloverina is Rusty Star, who's not so trusty, just look at those crazy eyes and long teeth. You'll want to have apples and or sugar cubes at the ready when she's nearby.
Front right is Boinker the oinker. He really loves to come along and boink you into the mud hole, so look out. But then he'll join in for a muddy good time.
Last but not least is Mrs. Fleece. She's such a sweety, she'll let you take the wool right off her back. While you're at it, get some from her cute little black face.
These little critters were fun to make. No pattern just various Spellbinders dies, and punches. Can you believe that flower punches were used for their ears?!
I used an M shaped cardbase for attaching the parts and to make them stand. All of the creatures were made with a wonderful textural suede paper.
These made me smile and the DH approved them with a smile too. So hopefully Vikki will get a kick out of them too! |
