Traveling to the Land of a thousand Lakes
to see a stamper, it's true, not fake!
Vikki Jo is the lovely lady we seek,
not just today, but for all the week.
It's said she loves cute critters of all sorts,
Is that Mudder I hear snicker and snort?
Mudder said in the meadow we'll hide,
Until Miss Birdie on the Butt is seen and spied!
On the 19th of June, we will all jump out,
And tell Ms Vikki Jo what this is all about.
To make you feel loved, feel better, and happy,
Oh this is getting gooey and sappy!
Wait, Look in the meadow, do you see?
I little furry fluffy trying to come to tea.
Behind the hydrangeas, next to the tree,
He is getting ready to pounce, if you ask me.
Hey there little one, don't press your luck,
Or you'll end up in soup, like Peking Duck.
LOL The name of that stamp is peeking kitty. But not very many nice words rhyme with kitty. (blush)
The other stamp is the gorgeous Northwoods stamp, that I had remarked how much I liked. And our dear Fran (Philsmom) was so kind to send some to me. Thank you Fran!!!
I colored two of the images and layered the butterfly, leaves and centers of the cone flowers. Then I added lots of bling!!! I know you can see the butterfly trail, but thee are also little tiny gems in the centers of the hydrangeas.
My card was already completed before the Christmas announcement, but maybe I can send Vikki another card too.
Thanks for taking a peek..ing duck!

Okay, I read your poem, spent 15 minutes trying to come up with words that rhyme with kitty and now will spend the rest of the day thinking about how smart you were to stay away from kitty! Snort...oops.....evidence that I am here! Ha!
