I thought, no, I don't think I am going to try this. I did laundry all weekend and my dryer sheets were long gone. But then I saw Linda's (morningsun47) lovely card and she explained that she used a new sheet! And thought okay, I will give it a go!
I made my circles and glimmer misted them with Tattered Angels Starfish and Lemon Zest. After they dried, I made PERFECT little circle trims with the green stickles. By this time the afternoon sun was warming up my craft room, so...I turned on the fan...whooosh...three of them blew over. No more perfect circles. In fact, I had to add more stickles. So, I just made them glittery all along their edges.
I am not sure how I feel about this flower. But, thank you, Judy! It was definitely worth trying! Thank you Linda too!
** Well, I finally figured out why I didn't really like this flower! The more I looked at it, the more it looked like a squished tomato with some parsley sprinkled on top! Don't fib! I know you can see it too!!! LOL Yep, those are the wrong colors to try this!!! I made a new card and it is much nicer. : ) Of course that wasn't that hard to accomplish! LOL

oh Kathleen this is gorgeous~I love the colors~and I rarely use stickles because it takes forever to dry and I always get in a hurry and smear it all over! I'm glad you tried the tech~it really is easy and fun and you can get so many different looks! You did good!!!! TFS

Great flower! Like your colors and the center pearl brad. I haven't looked in the gallery as yet ... not enough time til later this week. I didn't have a used dryer sheet and I wasn't sure if a new one would work. Although, it would make your card smell really good. Hee!

LOL! The same thing happened to me w/ the ceiling fan. But at least mine didn't have stickles on them yet. And I was able to dig up several used dryer sheets. Your flower turned out lovely even though it was a lot of trouble.
