This is for a wedding this weekend. I LOVED ctorinaÂ’s card SO much I was going to try and case it exactly but the U.S. mail had other ideaÂ’s. I orderd the small EF 2 weeks ago and when it had not come by the first of the week I started emailing the site I ordered it from (no phone number available). After 5 emails someone finally sent me a note that said it was mailed on the 6th in a business envelope and maybe I received it and threw it away. Would I like a refund? NOOOO I want the folder!!!! But not to beÂ…. I got the refund. Here is the card I loved so much.
I embossed the bride and groom in Ranger Fine detail EP and it took me several times to get it right and then after I stamped the Mr. & Mrs. I kept forgetting to let it dry for a long time (I finally used my heat gun) and I kept getting black on it. Then I could not figure out how she got her pretty frame and that took several times, not to mention how many times it took to get a perfect cut on that beautiful Cheery Lyn flourish. (Yes always using my GOOD paper). My frame still isnÂ’t right and I like the EF look that her card has so much better but it is what it is. I am a bit of a perfectionist and the bride and groom are too high in the frame but only another stamper would catch that probably.
By the way there is a product out there called Glue N Seal that is my new best friend for gluing down dies. Michaels sells it and be sure to look for the Matte finish. There are two sizes and the small one comes with a brush the larger not. (I used a coupon on both of mine) You can brush on from the front or back and when it dries "WALLLAH" you can not see it AT ALL if you should get some glue on the paper. Good for gluing down tiny tiny flowers like those on the next card I am going to post!
Cherry Lynn flourish
Stampendous Mr. & Mrs.
Spellbinder ovals
Black versafine ink
Gold Ranger Super fine detail EP
Ranger Glue N Seal (found in the adhesives area at Michaels)
Also TMI. I ordered somethign pretty for the wedding (to wear) two weeks ago and they assured me it would ship the next day and I would get it in plenty of time. Then I get an email that it shipped this week. I called and for some reason??? (unknown by anyone) it shipped late and won't be here until next week. The wedding is in Phoenix on Sat. I live in a rural place with NO good place to shop and so I have to go into my closet and see if anything fits (I don't wear dressy clothes very much or at all to be honest) so I am a little bummed. I worked retail sales in management for 20 years so I have alot of nice clothes...2 sizes ago. :-) I have adopted a much more casual wardrobe that does not involve pantyhose. Not appropriate for a wedding......

This sounds like one of my last minute fiascos everything goes wrong at the last minute.
Hope you found something to wear, I have been in that situation as well you made me laugh, hope you had a great time.
Love the card almost as much as the story behind it!!!!
