This is a father's day card I made for my boyfriend's Father, and I had thought I'd not make one again after my own Father passed away, but here I was pulling out the cardstock
Used two Tim Holtz embossing folders at once to cover the whole blue piece, as it seems I had cut my brown card base taller then usual.
This also got me out of having to choose which one of the two folders I should use ;)
Had gotten a muffin at a fast food restaurant with golden arches the morning before and found extra wax paper squares in my to go bag. Knew I'd keep them for crafting and here one was used to make a gift card (as good as vellum) pocket. Stamped the ink on the inside of the paper so it would dry. Mimicked the template of a purchased pocket and stuck it to the card.
Repeated the time and cogs motif inside, keeping the watch on the top and the gears on the bottom.
First attempt I used the brown yarn, but my second attempt I went with the ribbon and liked it much better, more polished look.
Thanks for looking!
