I created this Father's Day card using the layout for the Card Patterns Sketch Challenge. Tweaked it a wee bit and simply gave up on the doily die working properly! I started punching out some of the holes and it was so tedious that I left the rest with an embossed look instead. :-( I have tried adding shims to this die and it simply will not cut through CS! Grrr!!! If anyone has the sandwich solution for successful cutting with a Big Shot, I'd be eternally grateful to hear what you use. The inside sentiment reads "Dad, you're someone I can look up to, no matter how tall I've grown. Happy Father's Day".

What an adorable silhouette, and your saying inside is so sweet. Any dad will be sure to treasure it. and your doily part is STILL very pretty.. I dont quite understand what you did , but I have one die cut thats a bit tougher so I add another piece of cardstock to that sandwich, if thats what you meant with what you did I am sorry I have no other idea...I t can be frustrating.....TFS..:0).
