 | | Finally my shutters arrived in the mail! (had the window for ages). First, a Mediterranean scene.
The old 'rendered' background is orange cardstock, dry embossed with a brick EF, then some cream craft paint lightly smeared on in places, then a copic to blend & soften the colors.
The white window, shutters and flower box die-cuts have had turquoise Viva pearl pen lightly smeared on to create the 'weathered' look. The flowers are tiny punches. Curtains are a MS punch. Foliage are die-cuts.
This is for the 'ways to use it' 'complimentary colors' - I love the blue/green with the red/oranges.
Think this would suit many occasions...New Home, Goodbye or Bon Voyage, Thinking of You or Get Well soon card. |
