In an effort to create more masculine cards to have on hand, I created this one by masking, stamping with Distress Inks and scoring. I am also playing along with the One Layer challenge at Simplicity.

Karen, this is beautiful! Love the colors you've sponged ... and your branches are fantastic. Love the scoring detail and the paper piercing too! Great card!

Wow Karen.......Gorgeous! I read your description that this is a one layer card.....I thought for sure your gorgeous leaves were a layer of DP...amazing. Your scoring and piercing added to the optical illusion. Love it all including the twine. TFS Into my favs
