This week our cards are going off to Michigan and a young man by the name of Cory. Just so happens that Cory loves Scooby Doo, thus all the SD cards in the gallery today.
This should have been an easy challenge, but was even worse for me than doing the hanging garden of last week. I finally went to the internet and got this image of Scooby. When I finally got the correct size I wanted, I colored him and cut him out. I then cut the striped dp to fit the printer and made a copy of Scoobs onto the striped dp. It came out neat, but ole Scoobs was transparent, like he had stripes man.
So I put the original just a little offset (not hard for me) of the one that is on the dp.
There's an extra black spot on Scoobs tail, the black marker I was using to outline, had a mind of it's own, or maybe that was my hand, either way, Scoobs has an extra black mark on his tail.
This card is a little strange (like me), in that it's a gatefold, but the Scoobs panel covers the whole front. On the other part of the gatefold, there's the next photo or I should say photos. Scoobs is mugging for the camera.
The band at the bottom of this photo is a belly band. Now that was a trial and error project. I wanted to put Cory's name there, but after three tries and none of them being straight, I gave up. So I just went with Cory's initials at the top.
All of this and I like the end result! I hope Cory does too!

Jennifer, you really made a special card for Cory. Love your wonderfully colored image of SD and the sweet butterfly on his nose. I like your gatefold design and they way you personalized it just for him. He will love it.
