 | | I had labored far too long over a layout for this pretty little ribbon flower I made a couple weeks ago when I came across this challenge....
The problem I was having is that the flower is so small it made the rest of the card look plain. But not wanting to detract from the flower as my focal point, I was reluctant to add much else in the way of embellishments.
I think the negative space does a nice job of showcasing the flower. I ran around the inside of the circle with a gold leaf pen to glam it up. I put a piece of un-embossed card stock behind the flower because I didn't want the Swiss dots to show.
It took me longer to get a half-way decent photo of the card than it took me to make it!
