During Judy aka StampingQueenJar's official reign I was having a difficult time, and wasn't stamping at all. I have a lot of respect for her and knew that somehow I would CASE some of her work in her honor. I chose the card to CASE: TLC370 Music of the Soul by StampingQueenJAR at Splitcoaststampers
As much as anything, I CASEd the technique that this was a sample card for, one that Judy came up with and shared in the TLC. I made the BG using Judy's technique with Memento Sahara Sand, Durango, Blue Bayou & Not Quite Navy and heat embossed with Bronze UTEE. Stamped the TH image in Suede and Versamark on Durango and heat embossed with clear. Matted on Suede and keeping the industrial theme used me ol' hammer and eyelet tool to attach the brass MM snaps (it was actually a fun trip down memory lane...). Heat embossed the TH key with more bronze UTEE. Mounted all with Webster's Pages DP and Little Sizzles Hombre Textured CS and the embossed sentiment. PT - 1
Yes this will be DH's Father's Day Card. He is an old soul. Thank you so much Judy for all of the teaching and inspiration that you do for us. It is always appreciated, even if noted rather late.
Thank you so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

I know what you mean Marzi. I have so many queens I'd love to go back and honor. I'm still working on one from last Friday - who knows when that will be done. I know Judy appreciates you honoring her and boy did you ever. This is such an AWESOME TH card with wonderful texture and great image. Way 2 go!

I also know what you mean about honoring the Queens. I missed 5 months of Queens. Unfortunately, I'm not going to make those up. That is the challenge I missed the most during my difficult time. On to your card....
You did the technique fabulously and I love this card. The truck and key are awesome. I've not used the hammer and eyelet tools in forever!
Awesome way to honor Queen Judy.

This is astounding. I love that background technique. Yours came out so beautifully. I really noticed the key right away and fell in love with how you did that. I might have to card lift that at some point...lol This is truly amazing and your DH will love it!
