I made a chocolate vase for a giveaway at a scrapbooking event, and when my DH saw it, he said he wanted one for his office desk! I made this BIG one (giant crunch and butterfingers used for vase) for him for Valentine's Day. He picked out the patterned paper, but hasn't seen the final product yet. Hope he likes it! I also made some small ones (using m-amazing bars and 3 flowers for his coworkers - will post that photo separately). The vase is super easy (I only replace the wrapper, which I prefer b/c I want people to KNOW it's chocolate!) and the flowers aren't too difficult, but they are a bit time-consuming. Flowers are all made from SU! punches and primitive heart die (Sizzix). Carnation - folk heart punch; Marigold - leaf punch (for leaves too!); daisy - word window punch and both large circle punches (leaves are Sizzix round top tag); Tulip (Sizzix round top tag, torn and layered). Stems are all bamboo skewers with garden green craft ink (just dragged a sponge over them). I also used one of the $ Spot pencil holders (not shown) with coordinating paper as a "backup" vase for when he just can't help himself and eats the chocolate (*his* idea). Gosh I love my DH! What do you all think??
