Welcome to June! It means the start of summer (bring on the sunshine!), the end of the school year (my son graduates from high school this month!) and the Creative Crew Challenges. Here's my card for the Scrapbook Focus: "How about a “recipe” on how to build a fun page?
Your page needs to have:
*The colors Real Red, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla
*At least one group of three (three layers, three pictures, three punches, etc)
*Something soft like a torn edge, ribbon, lace, a fabric element, etd. The rest is up to you. See where this takes you!"
I found this great layout in PageMaps and pulled out my Crumb Cake dsp for the 2" squares along with a couple of embossed Crumb Cake cs squares. I embellished the page Real Red die cuts and buttons, and everything starts on a Very Vanilla Patterns Pack 12x12 sheet of dsp.
I've included a couple of details shots for you too.

Wonderful page! I love the color blocking in crumb cake pieces. Love the pop of red just kind of scattered on the page. But my most favorite thing about this page is how you wrote it up in "details." Love that you put a link to your closeups. (I will be remembering this!)
Thank you for such a great page. It appears I need to visit PageMaps...
