Welcome to June! It means the start of summer (bring on the sunshine!), the end of the school year (my son graduates from high school this month!) and the Creative Crew Challenges. Here's my card for the Color Focus: "WeÂ’re going to use just three colors: Basic Gray, Whsiper White and one new In Color. You can pick any new In Color you want, but your project can only have three colors, no more, no less." I decided to use Primrose Petals and made a birthday gift for a coworker while I was at it. What do you think?
I started with a Basic Gray card base and then went to work on the main panel. (Side note...I just love making 3x3 card because they're quick, easy and give you instant stamping gratification! LOL...) For the main panel, I used my Big Shot with my Labels Collection Framelits and Whisper White cs. Onto the die cut, I stamped the cake image using Basic Gray and Primrose Petals ink pads and markers along with my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I smashed the die cut right onto my VersaMmark pad so I could emboss it with Iridescent Ice Emboss Powder. (Dazzling Diamond Technique: Dazzling Diamond Dust Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ) It's adhered to the card with Dimensionals. I made the sentiment panel with my Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, Floral District dsp, Whisper White Craft ink, and White Emboss Powder. It's adhered to the card with Dimensionals and embellished with Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
I even made a sweet, li'l envelope with the Floral District dsp and my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate.
Won't you play along with us? TFL - Regina

Not only is this a cute b/day card, but that envie is to die for. I've ordered that diagnol scoring insert after I found out you could make envies with it. Great work. Love the sparkle.
