A friend from college was getting married with a 1940's wedding theme.
I googled wedding cards from that era and found this cute bird card.
I printed the image and then used the mosaic tile stamping technique as found on you tube Stampin with Dawn:
Making the tile stamp took the most time. The card flew by after it was done
I had meant to darken in the grout lines with linen ink as she instructs but decided instead to simply leave the clear embossed tiles pattern as it was. It gave a simple and unique pattern letting the image shine through. And seemed vintage-like. I wish it showed up better in the picture.
After stamping out the card base, I used two colours of ink to stamp a simple sentiment inside and I was done.
