CC376 - Okay in the end (SUO)

Here's my card for this week's Farewell to 2010-2012 In Colors Color Challenge. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...a-t554479.html

I had a handful of In Color ribbon scraps on my desk just hoping that inspiration would come to me by month's end so I could use them up. Thank you, Betty!

I started by weaving my ribbon scraps around some Whisper White cs and layered it on Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz cs. I added 5 score lines on the left side of my Blushing Bride card base, used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment with Basic Black ink and then added the ribbon panel. I wanted to incorporate Poppy Parade, too, so I punched out some dsp flowers and jazzed them up with rhinestones.

My favorite retiring In Color of this bunch is Poppy Parade, but I'll miss them all. Farewell!

TFL - Regina

Regina, I just LOVE your woven ribbons, perfect sentiment, sweet punched flowers and of course your colors. I still have plenty of my favorite ret. In Colors CS, etc. I am hoping at least some of them come back in a few years :-) TFS

Wonderful project. The ribbons look fabulous in a weave.

Thanks for sharing.

NOW why didn't I think of that - cuz I wouldn't be able to think it or do it probably. You did a terrific job and I could have used that sentiment big time last week. Just gotta have faith that everything will be okay in the end no matter which way it seems to go or turn out. Lovely!
